Our Mission
We believe every child in Alabama should be a healthy child and our goal is to make sure they have access to care through health coverage and a place to receive care. The coverage includes an emphasis on preventive health services and coverage for physician services, hospitals, vaccinations, well-child visits, healthy babies program, developmental screenings, mental health, vision and dental care.
Who We Are
Access Alabama is sponsored by the Alabama Primary Health Care Association, a nonprofit organization focused on strengthening and expanding access to primary and preventive care through service, education and collaboration so that Alabamians have access to coordinated health care which promotes improved outcomes. APHCA partners include the Alabama Medicaid Agency, Alabama Department of Public Health, and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
